	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/07/2018 answer text <p>We have not made such an assessment, however we recognise that before the introduction of the Timeshare, Holiday Products, Resale and Exchange Regulations 2011, UK consumer’s received consumer protections under the Timeshare Act 1992. The previous regulations did not include provisions to protect consumers from the apparently perpetual nature of some timeshare contracts. The new regime provides improved protections for consumers buying and selling timeshares and other long-term “holiday club” memberships including provision for consumers to withdraw from the contract. Currently, participating energy suppliers administer the discount and cannot guarantee customers their rebate at exactly the same time, especially Broader Group customers who need to apply when supplier schemes open. This group make up approximately 40% of the scheme.</p><p> </p><p>The Department is working closely with Ofgem and delivery partners so that suppliers are able to deliver the maximum number of rebates as speedily as possible. For winter 2017/18, the Department for Work and Pensions will provide the bulk of Core Group customer details to energy suppliers in August 2017. Ofgem’s ‘Project Transmit’ review represented a detailed assessment of the transmission charging arrangements, and its results were implemented in April 2016. The current regime seeks to ensure that the electricity transmission system develops in the most efficient and cost-effective way for consumers, and the evidence indicates that it does not disincentivise renewable energy projects. The volume of decommissioning activity is expected to increase over the coming years. The Government is committed to supporting the development of a world leading oil and gas decommissioning industry to take advantage of this opportunity.</p><p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy is working with the Oil and Gas Authority to help build capacity in the supply chain by giving greater visibility of forthcoming programmes so they can prepare accordingly for the opportunity that decommissioning activity will present.</p><p>The Government supported the establishment of the Oil and Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) as part of the Aberdeen City Region Deal.
