answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/09/2017 answer text <p>The detriment to retail energy customers on poor value standard variable tariffs, which was identified by the Competition and Markets Authority as averaging £1.4bn a year, must be addressed.</p><p> </p><p>My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has written to the Chief Executive of Ofgem asking him to advise on what action the regulator intends to take to safeguard consumers on the poorest value tariffs and to consider the future of standard variable tariffs. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/10/2016 answer text <p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, together with the Department for International Trade, works closely with offshore wind farm developers and UK supply chain companies to maximise the UK content in offshore wind farms.</p><p> </p><p>There is an agreed industry standard methodology in place for the Industry to measure and record the UK content in each offshore wind farm <a href="http://www.renewableuk.com/page/UKcontent" target="_blank">http://www.renewableuk.com/page/UKcontent</a>. The industry will publish anonymised and consolidated results to allow the sector and the public to track the sector’s progress towards fulfilling their vision.
