answer text <p>The Government has no plans to review the council tax banding of properties in England or carry out a council tax revaluation. A revaluation would be expensive to undertake and could result in increases in bills for many households. This happened following the council tax revaluation in Wales when 33% of all homes there were placed in a higher band compared to 8% of homes that were placed in a lower band.</p> more like this
