<p>The Department does not currently collect data from local authorities on enforcement of standards.</p><p>MHCLG publishes the English Housing Survey annually which collects information about people’s housing circumstances and housing conditions in England. The Department has seen the proportion of private rented homes failing to meet the Decent Homes Standard fall from 37 per cent in 2010 to 25 per cent in 2018.</p>
