The UK Shared Prosperity Fund will strengthen the foundations of productivity as set out in our modern Industrial Strategy to support people to benefit from economic prosperity. This new Fund will ensure that investments are targeted effectively to align with the challenges faced by places, creating a fresh opportunity to focus investment according to our own priorities. We are continuing to work on the design and priorities and we will consult widely on the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This will give all interested parties the chance to contribute their views to Government. As part of a full public consultation for this review, we will publish an impact assessment of proposed changes, including a quantification of costs.</p><p>Government has also committed to introducing a Future Homes Standard by 2025 for new build homes to be future-proofed, with low carbon heating and world-leading levels of energy efficiency. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/04/2019 answer text <p>Local authority auditors are required to comply with International Auditing Standards (IAS) when they set materiality thresholds for local authority audits. IAS 320 states that the auditor's determination of materiality is a matter of professional judgement and it explains that misstatements, including omissions, are considered to be material if they, individually or in the aggregate, could reasonably be expected to influence the economic decisions of users taken on the basis of the financial statements</p><p><br> It is not our role to make a judgement on whether the materiality level set by an auditor is unusual or not. However, when setting the materiality level, the auditor should ensure their judgement is justified transparently including a demonstration of how they have designed their audit work to suit the structure and operations of local authorities</p><p><br> If a person wants to make a complaint about the work of an auditor, in the first instance they should complain directly to the senior audit partner using the firm's complaint processes. Auditors are obligated to consider all complaints. These include doubling Small Business Rate Relief from 50 per cent to 100 per cent for eligible businesses and raising the threshold for 100 per cent relief from £6,000 to £12,000. As a result, over 655,000 small businesses –a third of all rateable properties – pay no business rates at all. We have also switched the annual indexation of business rates from the retail price index to the consumer price index, representing a cut in business rates every year. Switching to CPI will help all ratepayers and save them over £6 billion over the next five years. This includes switching the annual indexation of business rates from the retail price index to the consumer price index, representing a cut in business rates every year to all ratepayers, including nurseries, and saving businesses over £6 billion over the next five years. It also includes doubling small business rate relief from 50 per cent to 100 per cent for eligible businesses and raising the threshold for 100 per cent relief from £6,000 to £12,000. Eligible businesses with a rateable value between £12,000 and £15,000 will be entitled to tapered relief. Independent nursery providers may therefore be eligible for small business rate relief if they occupy a single property with a rateable value below £15,000.
