<p>My department works closely with the Local Government Association on a wide range of issues to help improve local services, including adult social care.Adult social care provides a vital service to millions of people across the country. We recognise the pressures on these services, which is why this government is providing up to £3.5 billion for adult social care this Parliament, including £1.5 billion extra for the Better Care Fund by 2019-20.</p>
