answer text <p>Since it was established, the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has reduced its energy consumption by 42%.</p><p>DECC has, and continues, to take effective steps to reduce its energy costs by cutting energy use on its estate. The Department’s Carbon Management Plan details our plans to achieve reductions in energy and carbon through to 31 March 2015.
