The final report of the quantitative evaluation of the Education Maintenance Allowance pilots was published in 2005. It contains an assessment of the impact of the allowance on participation and attainment and is available at: <a href="http://dera.ioe.ac.uk/5734/1/RR678.pdf" target="_blank">http://dera.ioe.ac.uk/5734/1/RR678.pdf</a> The Education Maintenance Allowance was abolished and replaced by the 16 to 19 Bursary Fund in the 2011/12 academic year
