<p>Under the Legal Services Act 2007, the legal services sector, together with its regulators, operate independently of government. The Ministry of Justice does not collect data on law firms’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. The department has no plans to publish ratings of law firms by their ESG performance.</p>
