answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/01/2015 answer text <p>The final bids submitted by the remaining three bidders on 5 January 2015 for the competition for Compliance and Enforcement Services are going through a robust evaluation process and HMCTS will award the contract based upon the bidder which submits the most economically advantageous tender. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/11/2014 answer text <p /> <p>(a) Expenditure for external contractors is aligned within the Ministry of Justice to that of Cabinet Office Controls. Contractors are sourced via Pan Government contractual arrangements and rates are set by the contract in line with contractors experience and the job role required. Contractors are not able to charge more for their services than the initial price agreed at time of appointment. Pan Government arrangements date back to 1/4/11 and no information prior to this date is available.</p><p> </p><p>(b) Since May 2010 there have been around 70 contracts awarded by The Ministry of Justice to provide the provision of consultancy.</p><p> </p><p>To establish whether a consultancy company have charged more than the initial price agreed for their services we would need to interrogate both the files and companies to obtain the information required and then review and collate that information. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/09/2014 answer text <p><strong>A)</strong></p><p>Since the start of January 2010 the Ministry of Justice has let 114 contracts with a estimated value between £1m and £3m, and 189 with a estimated value over £3m. Please note this figure can vary between points in time as forecast contract value at award can be more or less than actual contract value as the contract progresses - this means contracts could fall into, or drop out of, the parameters specified above.</p><p> </p><p>The Ministry of Justice cannot accurately provide a figure for the number of contracts it plans to let. The department will evaluate each requirement on a case by case basis before making the decision to engage with the market or continuing to deliver the service in-house.</p><p>The private sector has an important role to play in helping deliver much needed reforms. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/07/2014 answer text <p>The Ministry of Justice is entering into detailed discussions with Shared Services Connected Limited (SSCL) regarding the future delivery of their back office services with the intention of awarding a contract in August 2014. We expect this to bring increased savings and efficiency in back-office functions, provide further benefits across wider Government and offer better value for money to the tax payer.</p><p> </p><p>SSCL have stated their intention of providing 12 months job protection for all transferring staff from the point of transfer in October 2014. This means that there will be no compulsory redundancies during this period. No decisions have been made to close buildings and we expect all sites to remain open during this period.</p><p> </p><p>Following the transfer of staff, services and IT, there will be a stabilisation stage during which SSCL will look at how the service is currently delivered.
