Ms Perkins was awarded a Companion of the Order of the Bath in the Birthday Honours 2002 List when she was serving as Head of Civil Service Corporate Management and Reform within the Cabinet Office. Honours nominations are made in confidence and there is an expectation that they remain confidential in order to protect the integrity and confidentiality of the honours system.
