The<br>day will also serve as an occasion thank all members of the Armed Forces Family who have<br>served and who continue to serve our country.</p><p><br>We recognise there will be implications for the counting of votes in some of the Police and Crime<br>Commissioner, London Mayoral and Assembly, combined authority mayoral, local mayoral and<br>local government elections which will have taken place the day before the VE Day bank holiday in<br>2020. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/05/2019 answer text <p>The expenditure by each Boundary Commission on the conduct of the Boundary Review which reported in September 2018 includes costs incurred in the 2018-19 financial year, and the figures are therefore subject to final confirmation of the 2018-19 accounts. All registration officers’ systems have compatibility with the Individual Electoral Registration Digital Service (IERDS), which allows Electoral Registration Officers to notify other officers of moved electors, as well as other functionalities. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/02/2019 answer text <p>With the introduction of Individual Electoral Registration (IER) in 2014, the Cabinet Office worked with the Electoral Management Systems (EMS) providers to ensure they were compatible with the Government’s IER Digital Service. Compatibility with the IER Digital Service means that Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) can manage registration data through their EMS by downloading applications submitted through the Register to Vote website, uploading applications to be verified with the Department of Work and Pensions, and notifying other EROs about electors who have moved from their area. As with the 2018 pilot scheme orders they will be published on <a href="https://gov.uk/" target="_blank">GOV.UK</a>.</p><p> </p><p>The success of the voter ID pilots in May 2018 proves that voter ID is a reasonable and</p><p>proportionate measure. A diverse range of local authorities will be taking part in voter ID pilots for the 2019 local elections. Based on the public opinion survey of the 2018 pilots there is no indication that the ID requirement impacted the intention to vote for any consistent specific demographic group across the 2018 pilot authorities.</p><p> </p><p>The local authorities taking part in the 2019 voter ID pilot scheme are conducting equality impact assessments to ensure that the potential impacts of the scheme on their voters are understood, and that mechanisms to support voters can be put in place where necessary.
