The Group has met twice formally since its inception in July 2018, once in November 2018 and once in February 2019.</p><p> </p><p>The Ministerial Group Chair is supported by a private secretary who has portfolio responsibility from within the Office of the Leader of the House of Commons. The secretariat function for the Early Years Family Support Ministerial Group is provided by the Economic and Domestic Affairs Secretariat in the Cabinet Office. The group draws on resources from HM Treasury, Department for Work and Pensions, Department for Education, Department for Health and Social Care, the Ministry of Housing, Communications, and Local Government, and Home Office.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies (PVSC) Act 2011 provides for the number of constituencies to be reduced from 650 to 600 and the Government remains committed to equalising the size of constituencies in order to make votes of more equal value. The Government will outline its plans for constituency boundaries when it responds to the Political and Constitutional Reform Committee’s report, <em>What next on the redrawing of parliamentary constituency boundaries?</em>, in due course.</p><p> </p><p>The Boundary Commissions are due to commence work on their next reviews of Parliamentary constituencies in spring 2016 in order to submit final reports by 1 October 2018.
