We encourage organisations that provide HIV prevention and treatment services to proactively engage with the BAME lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender population.</p><p> </p><p>The LGBT Action Plan includes a commitment on tackling HIV transmission, AIDS and HIV-related deaths. Public Health England are disseminating results from their ‘Positive Voices’ survey to tackle the stigma and discrimination faced by people living with HIV.</p><p> </p><p>Public Health England and the Department for Health and Social Care are responsible for sexual health policy. These differences of opinion can and should be discussed in a mature and respectful manner. Where that has not been the case, the Government would urge those on all sides to treat each other with more respect. It is available until March 2020 or until its total of £250,000 is exhausted, whichever is sooner.</p><p> </p><p>The fund is therefore timebound. No general election is scheduled for the time period of the fund.
