answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/05/2024 answer text <p>When applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) there are two different types of service offer available to claimants who are deaf or hearing impaired.</p><p> </p><p>We offer Video Relay Service, a third-party sign and talk solution which allows sign language to be used to aid communication between a claimant and DWP, via a third party. We want everyone who can work to be able to find a job, progress, and thrive in the labour market, whoever they are and wherever they live. The Department delivers comprehensive employment support including through face-to-face time with work coaches in our Jobcentres and via more intensive contracted employment programmes.</p><p> </p><p>Our Employment Advisor team are working with employers to generate employment opportunities for all residents across Coventry. By working with local stakeholders such as Coventry &amp; Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, Coventry City Council and WMCA, we are encouraging employers to think more widely in their workforce planning activity through devolution projects such as the Job Rotation Pilot and other local initiatives to help employers grow their businesses whilst recruiting through a more inclusive approach for example through Disability Confident.</p><p>Recent recruitment campaigns across the retail sector include B&amp;M and Iceland. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/05/2024 answer text <p>As of November 2023,100 Tax Credit claims, in Merseyside, and less than 5 Tax Credit claims, in the Wirral that have migrated to Universal Credit (UC) have had a deduction for a non-fraud Tax Credit debt from their UC award.</p><p> </p><p>UC claims in Northern Ireland are administered by the Department for Communities.</p><p> </p><p>Proportions of the Tax Credit caseload cannot be provided as Tax Credit claims are administered by HMRC. HMRC publish statistics on the number of families benefiting from Child Tax Credit (CTC) and/or Working Tax Credit (WTC) in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The consultation, <em>Modernising Support for Independent Living: The Health and Disability Green Paper, </em>is instead about opening up a broader conversation about how we could reshape the current welfare system to provide better targeted support to those who need it most.</p><p>Part of the Green Paper explores alternative ways of supporting people to live independent and fulfilling lives. The associated consultation will last for 12 weeks, ending on 22 July. Throughout this period we will continue to listen to and work with disabled people, people with health conditions and their representatives.</p><p>The consultation aims to hear views on whether we should have a condition-based assessment.
