Universal Credit has its own system of benefit advances. These figures do not include applications which were processed clerically and have not yet been entered on to the Social Fund Computer System.</p><p> </p><p>2. This figure is derived from £8,633,440.75 total paid to applicants and £2,380,253.73 total paid to the DWP Compensation Recovery Unit (CRU).
