answer text <p>The Report of the Macur Review published on 17 March 2016 contained a number of redactions to avoid prejudicing ongoing and upcoming criminal prosecutions and trials. Most of the redactions in this category concerned the former North Wales Police superintendent, Gordon Anglesea.</p><p> </p><p>The revised report, published on 5 December 2017, reinstates references to Gordon Anglesea except where there is any risk that victims, witnesses or other individuals might be identified.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>No. Lady Justice Macur specifically cautioned Ministers against publishing certain groups of names, for example to protect against prejudicing pending and ongoing criminal investigations and prosecutions.</p><p> </p><p>An unredacted version of the report has been provided to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, chaired by Justice Lowell Goddard, and was seen by representatives from Operations Pallial, Hydrant and Orarian.</p> more like this
