<p>The Government provides funding to UK local authorities for public electric vehicle
charging points via the On Street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS). The total
funding including completed and approved projects in each of the last three financial
years is below:</p><table><tbody><tr><td><p>Financial Year</p></td><td><p>ORCS funding
total</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>2021 - 2022</p></td><td><p>£24,989,278</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>2020
- 2021</p></td><td><p>£7,257,098</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>2019 - 2020</p></td><td><p>£4,963,391</p></td></tr></tbody></table><p>
</p><p>Figures have been provided for the ORCS grant scheme that supports publicly
available chargepoints. In addition, the £400 million Charging Infrastructure Investment
Fund, which is now part of the new Infrastructure Bank, is a dedicated fund that will
accelerate the roll-out of charging infrastructure throughout the UK. Other schemes
to fund non-public chargepoints have also been available during this time.</p>
