answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/07/2019 answer text <p>Mark’s Tey Station, in the Witham constituency, was one of 320 nominations received for the latest round of Access for All funding. It was not selected as there were other stations nominated in the region which had either third party match funding or higher footfall. A list of all 320 nominations will be placed in the Library of the House.</p><p>Stations were not given a weighted score but were assessed against a range of criteria including annual footfall, the incidence of disability in the area, the availability of third party funding for the project, and the priorities of the rail industry itself. We also took into account local factors such as proximity to a hospital. Of that, about 40% will fund the completion of projects included in the first Road Investment Strategy. The remainder will fund operations, maintenance and renewals on the strategic road network plus new enhancement schemes. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2019 answer text <p>The Department for Transport and Highways England have been considering how best to take forward the A12 scheme, in the light of concerns raised by the Planning Inspector in June 2018 regarding the proposed Garden Community at Marks Tey and its interaction with the A12 scheme.</p><p>Highways England have been working closely with Essex County Council and the North Essex authorities to find the best approach to delivering the A12 scheme that takes account of wider growth in the region and achieves value for money.
