This includes all of those on Northern Ireland and Ireland. We remain absolutely committed to doing so. We are aware of the concerns of UK nationals regarding the security of their careers, and we do not want those working for the EU to be disadvantaged as a result of the UK’s decision to leave the EU. Ultimately, it is for the EU to decide their employment practices.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Government welcomes the recent announcement by the European Commission with regard to officials with UK nationality on aspects of their employment status post-exit.
