answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/07/2019 answer text <p>The UK will be leaving the EU on the 31 October - whatever the circumstances.</p><p>We would, of course, prefer to leave with a deal. However, if it is not possible to reach a deal we will have to leave with no deal. We are now turbocharging all our necessary preparations to do so. In the event of no deal, the Government will prioritise the flow of goods at the border. We will continue to take a risk-based approach to controls and checks on goods at the border, minimising additional friction to protect flow. Over the longer term, the Government will look to enhance border systems and processes.</p><p>Extensive engagement activity continues with businesses, traders and across the border industry. This incorporates the economic and security partnerships outlined by the Prime Minister, as well as the institutional framework that will underpin them and other cross-cutting issues, including a cooperative accord on culture and education.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>In light of the joint publication, we have been having regular discussions with the EU on aspects of our future partnership. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/11/2017 answer text <p>The Department for Exiting the European Union, working with officials across government, continues to undertake a wide range of analysis to support progress in the negotiations.</p><p> </p><p>However, as I said in my opening remarks to the House on 1 November and reiterated in my statement on 28 November, the Government has not produced a series of sectoral impact assessments. The sectoral analysis which has been conducted is a wide mix of analysis contained in a range of documents developed at different times since the referendum, covering a variety of sectors from across the UK economy.
