answer text <p>At the Munich Security Conference, the Prime Minister outlined her vision of the UK continuing to cooperate with the EU on security and law enforcement and proposed a new UK/EU treaty on internal security.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>To be fully effective, this treaty must be respectful of both the UK and EU’s sovereign legal orders. For example, when participating in EU agencies the UK will respect the remit of the European Court of Justice and a principled but pragmatic solution will be needed to respect the UK's status as a third country with our own sovereign legal order.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>In assessing the options for the UK's future outside the Customs Union, the Government will be guided by what delivers the greatest economic advantage to the UK, and by three strategic objectives:</p><ul><li><p>ensuring UK-EU trade is as frictionless as possible;</p></li><li><p>avoiding a hard border between Ireland and Northern Ireland;</p></li><li><p>establishing an independent trade policy.</p></li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Government is undertaking a wide range of ongoing analysis in support of our EU exit negotiations and preparations. Our future partnership paper reflects the deep engagement the Government has sought from external parties with expertise on each policy area.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>An Impact Assessment is a specific document, which often accompanies a major bill or regulation to illustrate the effects of the changes. answer text <p>The Department now has over 600 staff with all posts being London based, plus the expertise of over 120 officials in Brussels from the UK Permanent Representation to the EU. DExEU does not have any designated home workers but ad hoc home working arrangements, as part of the Departments approach to flexible working practices, are managed locally and are therefore not held on central records.</p> more like this
