Friend the Prime Minister has created the Department for International Trade, which is responsible for promoting British trade across the world and ensuring the UK takes advantage of the huge opportunities open to us. answer text <p>Since 2010 the Government has succeeded in reducing the trade deficit by £4bn or 9.4% through a number of measures delivered by UKTI such as the Exporting is GREAT campaign. The Prime Minister has established the Department for International Trade for promoting British trade across the world and ensuring the UK takes advantage of the huge opportunities open to us. She has also established a Department for Exiting the European Union for overseeing negotiations to leave the EU and establishing the future relationship between the UK and EU.
