answer text <p>As a member of the EU, the UK has supported the Commission’s proposal to revise its anti-dumping methodology, while clearly advocating that any amendments to the regulations must be applied in a way which is WTO compliant. Any changes to the EU’s methodology must be fair, balanced and compatible with WTO requirements.</p><p>On leaving the EU, we will operate our own trade policy. We will develop a WTO compliant trade remedies regime that will enable us to tackle significant market distortions. Our regime will provide UK industries, including steel, with protection against unfair and injurious trade practices.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Like all departments, the Department of International Trade (DIT) is planning for a number of scenarios to make sure we are ready on Day 1 of EU Exit.</p><p>Over £250m of additional funding has been approved across a number of departments in 2017/18 to prepare for Brexit.</p><p>DIT has received additional funding this year, and has reprioritised to meet new pressures arising from Brexit preparations.</p><p>Additional funding received from the reserve for 2017/8 will be set out at Supplementary Estimates.</p><p>The costs of EU Exit in 2018-19 will be affected by negotiations over the coming months.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Department for Education will be a standing member of the DIT Education Sector Advisory Board. Other Government Departments, including the Department for International Development, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and Home Office will be invited depending on the agenda for each meeting. The Government recognises the benefit that education exports bring to the UK and this Group will support the aspirations of the sector internationally.</p><p> </p><p>DIT liaises regularly across Whitehall departments in support of growth in higher education exports. The Government actively champions study in the UK through the GREAT Campaign and through the British Council which promotes the UK in over 100 countries.
