In the period since leaving the EU, the value of UK exports to the EU is back to pre-Covid levels. Latest figures published by the Office for National Statistics show that the UK total exports of goods and services to the EU were worth £330.2bn in the 12 months to September 2022. Our refreshed Export Strategy launched last November to help businesses at every stage of exporting and will continue to help drive exports to Europe. UK exports to the EU totalled 274.8 billion in the 12 months to March 2022.</p><p>The department has supported over 11,000 UK businesses to trade with Europe through the Export Support Service and, through our independent trade policy, we have opened up opportunities for UK businesses across the world.
