The “luminous efficacy” of lightbulbs has for many years internationally been measured in lumens (measure of brightness) per watt (measure of power). This is the ratio of light out /energy in. There are currently information requirements placed on suppliers of lightbulbs that require the packaging to display the equivalent Watts of the lumen rating. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2017 answer text <p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy collect data from energy companies on the price of energy. This data is collected in confidence and therefore cannot be provided by individual supplier.</p><p>In real terms, the cost of an average annual UK domestic energy bill based on fixed consumption levels[1] for combined gas and standard electricity increased year on year from 2010 to 2014 but fell between 2014 and 2016. Overall from 2010 to 2016, bills increased by 8.4 per cent, assuming fixed consumption. However, over this time period average household consumption of gas and electricity also fell, in large part as a result of improved energy efficiency. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2017 answer text <p>The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) was formed as part of the machinery of government changes in July 2017, by merging parts of BIS and parts of DECC.</p><p>The BEIS 2017 pay award has not yet been agreed, so details of staff pay increases are not available for this year.</p><p>It is also not possible to provide accurate information for pay increases for staff (a) above, (b) at and (c) less than one per cent for each of the former departments other than at disproportionate costs. Actions taken to tackle emissions have helped to reduce average energy bills for households as efficiency savings have more than offset the increased cost of supporting low carbon technologies.</p><p>The Committee on Climate Change (CCC) estimate that the cost of policies delivering cleaner energy, support for vulnerable households, and investing in upgrading our buildings account for around 12 per cent (around £140) of an average household dual fuel bill in 2016. However, these costs are on average more than offset by savings from improvements to the energy efficiency of people’s homes. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/09/2017 answer text <p>The UK has implemented a series of reforms since 2015 aimed at increasing the transparency of UK incorporated legal persons and arrangements, and preventing their misuse for illicit purposes. These reforms include, but are not limited to, the introduction of the publicly accessible People with Significant Control Register; the abolition of bearer shares; the introduction of a register of trusts with tax generating consequences; the introduction of Unexplained Wealth Orders; and the introduction of the HMRC register of Trust or Company Service Providers.
