answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/10/2021 answer text <p>The Government’s landmark Net Zero Strategy, published on October 19, will drive forward our ambition to reach net zero and level up the UK by supporting up to 190,000 jobs in the middle of the 2020s and up to 440,000 jobs in 2030. Building on my Rt. Hon. Friend the Prime Minister’s <em>Ten Point Plan</em>, £26 billion of government capital investment has been mobilised for the green industrial revolution. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/10/2021 answer text <p>In June 2019, following advice from the Climate Change Committee, the UK Government became the first major economy to set a legally binding target to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This will bring an end to the UK's domestic contribution to climate change.</p><p>The Net Zero Strategy outlines measures to transition to a green and sustainable future, helping businesses and consumers to move to clean power, supporting hundreds of thousands of well-paid jobs and leveraging up to £90 billion of private investment by 2030.</p><p>When the UK took the role of incoming COP Presidency in December 2019, coverage was less than 30% of world GDP.
