answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/03/2020 answer text <p>Ending new HIV infections and preventing AIDS-related deaths is a critical part of the UK government’s renewed focus on ending preventable deaths of mothers, new-borns, and children by 2030.</p><p>The UK is a world leader in efforts to end the AIDS epidemic. Last year the UK made a £1.4 billion pledge to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria for the 6th replenishment covering 2020 to 2022. This supports the commitment to end the AIDS epidemic as a public health threat by 2030. No cases have been recorded against Ministers or Secretaries of State in each of the last 5 years. No cases of bullying and harassment were recorded against managers in 2015 and 2016. Less than 5 cases were recorded against managers in both 2017 and 2018. 7 cases were recorded against managers in 2019. DFID has taken multiple steps to help raise awareness of bullying and harassment (including sexual), including communications from our senior leaders which encourage staff to report concerns and reaffirm their commitment to listening, taking action and tackling all concerns raised. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/03/2020 answer text <p>The UK recognises the UN Relief and Works Agency’s (UNWRA) unique mandate to support Palestinian refugees until a lasting political settlement is reached which determines their final status. Until that time, the UK will continue to meet humanitarian need and promote regional security by supporting the 5 million Palestinian refugees across the Middle East through UNRWA. Our contribution to UNRWA last year helped provide education to more than 530,000 children (half girls), health services for over 3 million people, and social assistance for over 250,000 of the most vulnerable people.</p><p>Students in all UNRWA schools are taught the curriculum of their host country. UNRWA reviews host country textbooks and when problematic material is identified, develops alternative content and provides its teachers with support to ensure that the lessons taught in its schools promote tolerance and peace. Most recently they discussed the updated UN Readiness and Response Plan, requesting $500 million from the international community to support the emergency response in Idlib. DFID has contributed to that response.</p><p>On 3 March the Secretary of State announced an additional £89 million of humanitarian aid to Syria, including £15 million specifically for Idlib.
