At the UN in September I announced a further 50 million pounds of funding specifically for the <em>No Lost Generation Initiative</em>. answer text <p>Given the vulnerabilities of those brought to the UK under the Vulnerable Persons Relocation scheme, and the fact that no one yet has received a full 12 months of support, it is not possible at this stage to identify the average cost of refugee resettlement. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that the cost of resettling a refugee in the UK is far greater than that of supporting a refugee in the region. We can therefore help far more people in need through our support to partners delivering assistance in neighbouring countries.</p><p> </p> more like this
