answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2023 answer text <p>The Department is pursuing a range of policies which will prevent ill health and make a difference to the demand on services for National Health Services, including policies focused on the main risk factors for preventable ill health and on preventative health services.</p><p>We are making progress in restoring services for preventable non communicable conditions such as cardiovascular disease (CVD). For example, based on the current rate of recovery, we expect NHS Health Check delivery, a core part of our CVD prevention pathway, to return to pre-pandemic levels by June 2023. The Department is working alongside the National Health Service, other Government departments and social media companies to tackle anti-vaccine messaging, to limit misinformation. Part of this effort includes supporting strategic communication teams to identify and rebut false information, as well as ensuring reputable sources such as NHS.UK or GOV.UK are prominent and readily available. However, the NHS Long Term Plan commits an additional £2.3 billion a year for mental health services in England by 2023/24 to allow an additional two million people to receive National Health Service-funded mental health support, including women experiencing menopause symptoms.</p><p> </p><p>Women concerned about their mental health due to the menopause should seek advice from their general practitioner and can also self-refer to NHS Improving Access Psychological Therapies services, which assist with common mental health problems such as stress, anxiety and depression. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/12/2022 answer text <p>The Department and NHS England’s joint New Hospital Programme was provided with an initial £3.7 billion over the first four years of the programme to support the delivery of 40 hospitals by 2030. As this is an infrastructure project which will span a 10-year period, progress on the new hospitals will continue up until 2030.</p><p> </p><p>Cohort 3 is the first of the larger and more complex schemes. We are working with trusts to determine how elements of standardisation will be incorporated to deliver more efficient design and delivery. This will inform the next steps for progressing anticipated construction timescales. Cohort 4 are full adopters in the programme, benefiting from a centralised approach, standardised designs and modern methods of construction. We expect schemes in cohort 4 to be delivered in the latter half of the decade. Individual funding allocations for all schemes will be determined once a Full Business Case has been reviewed and agreed. Currently five of the 40 hospital schemes are under construction.
