answer text <p>Decisions to place countries on the ‘red’, ‘amber’ or ‘green’ lists are taken by Ministers informed by evidence, including the Joint Biosecurity Centre’s (JBC) risk assessments alongside other wider public health factors. As part of the risk assessments, the JBC monitors both Portugal and the Portuguese Islands, including Madeira.</p><p>We are unable to provide the advice, evidence and methodology which informs these decisions as it relates to on-going development of Government policy. answer text <p>Since the inception of the Shielded Patient List (SPL) in March 2020, over 3.8 million individuals have been identified as clinically extremely vulnerable and added to the list. The first iteration of the SPL contained around 870,000 individuals, which increased to around 2.3 million following additions by general practitioners and clinicians. An additional 1.5 million people were identified and added to the SPL in February 2021 following the COVID-19 Population Risk Assessment. Clinically vulnerable individuals have never been advised to shield as they only face a moderate risk from COVID-19.</p><p>No specific assessment has been made. Those identified as clinically extremely vulnerable would have differing levels risks of hospitalisation and death from COVID-19 following vaccination, subject to the individual circumstances of each person.</p> more like this

answer text <p>No specific assessment has been made of the report published by Salford University. However, the Government is taking action to raise awareness and education on the dangers of drinking alcohol while pregnant and improve support for those living with foetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and its consequences. We have also asked the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence to produce a quality standard in England for FASD to help the health and care system improve diagnosis and care of those affected, which is expected to be published later this year.</p><p>The Department will consider the report and its recommendations when developing future policies on FASD.</p> more like this
