In May, the Tunisian Government gave the Commission an extension until the end of this year in order to give additional time for the Commission to file its final report. A consensus has not yet been reached, but I am encouraged by the statements of many of the parties involved, including those in government, reiterating their support for the transitional justice process. This is an important step.
