answer text <p>The Government takes very seriously the failure of London Capital and Finance (LCF). On 1 April, I wrote to the Chair at the Financial Conduct Authority, Charles Randell, to say I will use powers under the Financial Services Act 2012 to direct the FCA to launch an investigation into the events at LCF and the circumstances surrounding them. This followed a request to me from Charles Randell to launch such an investigation.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Currently, no commemorative coins to mark the UK’s departure from the <del class="ministerial">UK</del> <ins class="ministerial">EU </ins>have been minted. However, as is standard procedure at The Royal Mint, a small number of trial coins have been produced. The production of trial coins does not incur any cost to the taxpayer.<ins class="ministerial"> The commemorative 50 pence coin to mark the UK leaving the European Union will be made available following our departure.</ins></p> more like this

answer text <p>At Budget 2018, the government confirmed it will review the Social Investment Tax Relief in 2019. This is in line with commitments made when the scheme was expanded in 2017. The Call for Evidence will be published in the spring and we will publish a response later this year.</p> more like this
