answer text <p>Build Standard 8 CT40 Cannon will be integrated into AJAX vehicles for in-service use. All CT40 Cannon delivered under the UK series production contract are at this standard.</p><p> </p><p>The Ministry of Defence does hold some older Build Standard 5 Cannon which have been used to support trials activity. These will not be fitted to in-service AJAX vehicles but could be repurposed for other uses once trials are complete, for example, as training aids for the Field Army.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The 40mm airburst munition is part of the planned CT40 system. It was due to be qualified as a shared nature via the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme (WCSP) in 2023-24 and read across to Ajax subsequently. However, following the cancellation of WCSP as announced in the defence Command Paper, further planning action will be required to confirm the requirement.</p> more like this

answer text <p>BCIP 5.6 is currently installed on 14,816 Army and Navy platforms. There are 2,990 platforms that are planned to have their current BCIP builds enhanced or to be fitted new. The Army's new vehicle fleets, AJAX and BOXER, will have BCIP 5.6 fits and Challenger 3 will have an enhancement. The Army's Multi Role Vehicle-Protected is planned to have a BCIP 5.6 fit. These figures may change as a result of the Integrated Review.</p><p> </p> more like this
