<p>We are in regular contact with the Treasury regarding the impact of Covid-19 on
tourism and hospitality. We continue to monitor the situation and are taking steps
to support the sector as it moves to the autumn season.</p><p>As well as providing
business support and stimulating consumer demand via domestic marketing activity and
through the recent Eat Out To Help Out scheme, the Government has implemented a series
of financial measures that will assist tourism business over the coming months. This
includes the cut to VAT which will last into January and business rates relief for
hospitality, retail and leisure businesses, which will last until the end of March.</p><p>We
are continuing to engage across Government and with stakeholders to assess how we
can most effectively support the recovery of tourism and hospitality across the UK.</p><p><strong>
