answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/07/2018 answer text <p>Assets recovered under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA) are distributed to operational agencies under the Asset Recovery Incentivisation Scheme (ARIS). Broadly, 50% of recovered assets are returned to operational agencies in England and Wales - including police, CPS and HM Courts Service – with the expectation that they will be reinvested in asset recovery or community projects. The Home Office share of recovered assets is a core part of its settlement under the Comprehensive Spending Review. It contributes to core expenditure programmes such as policing and the NCA.</p><p>From 2011 to 2016, £307m of ARIS monies returned to operational partners was used to fund further asset recovery work, crime reduction and community projects.</p><p>The Home Office is committed to publishing an annual report on asset recovery statistics, including the use of ARIS funds. The first of these was published in September 2017 and the second will be published in September 2018. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/09/2018 answer text <p>All asylum Accommodation Providers are contractually required to take account of any particular circumstances and vulnerability of those that they accommodate, including those who have health care issues. In addition Providers must comply with national and local housing regulations including those regarding room sharing. There are strict criteria set out in the contract around when room sharing can take place and who can share a room. Providers must also comply with local regulations including advice from social services and primary and secondary care bodies on whether room sharing is inappropriate for individual cases.</p><p>In accordance with our published policy, the Home Office will carefully consider all requests on a case by case basis from asylum seekers who may have particular vulnerabilities, care needs or health problems that necessitate a need for a specific location or specialist accommodation requirements. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/09/2018 answer text <p>The Home Office did not receive compliant bids for the Asylum Accommodation and Support Contracts (AASC) for the following two regions:</p><ul><li>North East, Yorkshire &amp; Humber (NEYH), and</li><li>Northern Ireland (NI).</li></ul><p>We are now in the process of re-competing these two regions under a linked but separate procurement and this is currently out to market. We ensure that claimants are given every opportunity to disclose information relevant to their claim before a decision is taken, even where that information may be sensitive or difficult to disclose.</p><p>We continue to work to improve the quality of decision-making to ensure that we properly consider all the evidence provided and get decisions right the first time.
