<p>According to ‘Reaching Out: Tobacco control and stop smoking services in local authorities in England, 2021’ published by Action on Smoking and Health and Cancer Research UK, of 150 local authorities, 90% provide a universal stop smoking offer<ins class="ministerial">. 67% of local authorities provide this offer through a specialist stop smoking service</ins> and 9% provide stop smoking support to targeted populations.</p>
