<p>NHS Digital publishes Hospital and Community Health Services workforce statistics
for England. These include staff working in hospital trusts and integrated care systems
but excludes staff working for other providers such as in primary care, general practice
or social care. The following table shows the number of maternity support staff, headcount,
in National Health Service hospitals and commissioning bodies in England, as of August
