We are determined to tackle air pollution and reduce its impact on public health and the environment. The government has committed £3.5bn to improve air quality for the entire population. Emissions of toxic Nitrogen Oxides have fallen by almost 29% since 2010 and are at their lowest level since records began, but there remains more to do.
