<p>Our recent consultation, “Planning Reform: Supporting the high street and increasing the delivery of new homes” sought views on the feasibility of a permitted development right to allow for the demolition of commercial buildings and replacement build as residential, while securing high quality development consistent with national policy. We are currently considering all the responses received to the consultation. Decisions will be taken in due course on how the proposals will be take forward.</p>
