answer text <p>At the March European Council we agreed with the EU that the UK is to be treated as a Member State for the purposes of international agreements for the duration of the implementation period. The EU will notify third parties of this approach.</p><p><strong><br></strong>Discussions we have had with our international partners suggest a willingness to find a pragmatic means of ensuring continuity of international agreements in a way that minimises the impact of the UK’s departure on them. A number of third countries have issued statements in support of this approach.</p> more like this
