To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, with reference to paragraph 2.11, page 15 of the White Paper, Legislating for the United Kingdom's Withdrawal from the European Union, what the rights are in the EU treaties that can be relied on directly in court by an individual that will continue to be available under UK law after the UK leaves the EU.

The Great Repeal Bill will ensure that there is maximum possible certainty as to the rights and obligations in our law upon leaving the EU. And it will allow for a smooth and orderly exit that provides a secure basis for future changes to our domestic law.The Bill will ensure that, wherever possible, the same rules and laws apply on the day after we leave the EU as they did before. Where rights in the EU treaties can be relied on directly in court by an individual, those rights will continue to be available in UK law under the Great Repeal Bill.
