<p>Non-medical support, provided by a higher education institution as a reasonable adjustment under the Equality Act, falls outside the scope of Disabled Students’ Allowances. Therefore, it falls outside the remit of the Disabled Students’ Allowances Quality Assurance Group. As independent, autonomous organisations, higher education institutions are responsible for quality assuring the support they provide.</p>
