answer text <p>The fuel type for UK nuclear electricity generation is Uranium.</p><p>Total simultaneous maximum load (total peak demand) met in 2013 was 51,811 MW in Great Britain – (Northern Ireland is excluded because their network is attached to the Irish Grid). <strong>[1]</strong></p><p>Table 1 shows the current operating plants alongside their percentage of the total peak GB demand mentioned above.
