answer text <p>My Rt hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Education, established a dedicated Due Diligence and Counter Extremism Division within the Department for Education in October 2010 in order to tackle the threat of extremism in schools. The Government's revised <em>Prevent</em> strategy, published in June 2011, set out a general assessment of the threat. The Government has always been very clear that there is no place for extremist views in any school.</p><p> </p> more like this
