answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/10/2018 answer text <p>For 2019-20, the Department estimates that £1.1 billion more will need to be put into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme by employers to ensure teachers’ pensions remain generous and attractive to the profession. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/10/2018 answer text <p>The estimated cost to state funded schools will be approximately £830 million in 2019-20 financial year and approximately £1.1 billion in each of the three following financial years until the next valuation of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, which is due in 2022-23 for implementation in financial year 2023-24.</p><p>The Department intends to fund state-funded schools and further education providers for these costs for financial year 2019-20, and will be consulting to understand the effects on other sectors. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/09/2018 answer text <p>The Teachers’ Pay Grant uses funding which has been released from the core schools budget, specifically the Schools Block of the Dedicated Schools Grant and the Pupil Premium.</p><p> </p><p>The amount originally set aside for these budgets in July 2017 was based on the projected number of pupils in schools and the projected number of pupils eligible for the pupil premium, in 2018/19 and 2019/20.
