The Government has supported this with £860m of investment over five years through the National Cyber Security Programme (NCSP). We have so far committed £70m of NCSP funding in improving law enforcement agencies’ ability to respond to this threat, including setting up the National Cyber Crime Unit in the National Crime Agency, and cyber teams in each of the Regional Organised Crime Units. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/04/2014 answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>It is not possible to accurately quantify the number of immigration offenders in the UK as, by their very nature, those that deliberately evade immigration control to enter and stay in the country illegally are not officially recorded until they come to light and are arrested.</p><p> </p><p>The Immigration Bill will provide new powers to implement exit checks, which the last Labour Government scrapped in 1998. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/07/2014 answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p>Any death in immigration detention is a tragic event and each death is subject <br>to independent investigation, as appropriate, by the police, the Coroner and <br>the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman. <br><br>Any recommendations made by the investigating authorities are thoroughly <br>examined to see how they can be used to help prevent further tragedies across <br>the detention estate and action plans are drawn up to monitor their <br>implementation. <br><br>For example, firm written reminders were issued to all suppliers on the <br>requirements of the current Detention Services Order on use of handcuffs, which <br>was followed up by a workshop on their appropriate use and the importance of <br>proper risk assessments. All <br>Border Force officers undergo mandatory training and have guidance to enable <br>them to fulfil this important duty in an appropriate manner. Checks are <br>conducted on passengers arriving in the UK in accordance with the Border Force <br>Operating Mandate. <br><br>Where a child is encountered at the border, and it is not immediately apparent <br>that the accompanying adult is their parent or guardian, Border Force officers <br>will ask questions to satisfy themselves as to the child’s welfare and to <br>discharge their statutory duty.
