answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/10/2014 answer text <p>The National Referral Mechanism (NRM) is a framework for identifying victims of trafficking and enabling them to access care and support. If the referred person is conclusively identified as a victim of trafficking, what happens next will depend on their immigration status and their own wishes. If it is decided by the Home Office that the person was not trafficked, and there are no other circumstances that would give them a right to live in the UK, they will be offered support to voluntarily return to their country of origin. There will be cases where a person is not entitled to leave to remain on the basis of their referral to the NRM, but do qualify for leave to remain for another reason. Since then, the funding allocations for the Prevent programme were as follows: <br><br>FY 2011 / 12 - £36m<br>FY 2012 / 13 - £35m<br>FY 2013 / 14 - £39m<br>FY 2014 / 15 - £40m<br><br>In each of these years, £5.1m has been made available to local authorities on a grant basis to deliver Prevent work at local level. <br><br>The 2011 Prevent Strategy separated Prevent and integration work. As a result, the Department for Communities and Local Government leads the Government’s integration strategy. Integration work no longer receives funding from the Home Office. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/09/2014 answer text <p /> <p>Law enforcement agencies do not routinely record the professions of individuals who have had their communications data accessed under the Regulation of Investigators Powers Act 2000 (RIPA), as there is no operational reason to do so. Furthermore, at the time that communications data is requested, the police may not be aware of the professions of those individuals that the requested data will relate to.<br><br>Communications data can only be accessed under RIPA when it is necessary for one of the statutory purposes, for example for the prevention and detection of crime and proportionate to what is sought to be achieved. As well as having to be necessary and proportionate, there are additional safeguards provided by the statutory Acquisition of Communications Data Code of Practice 2007 and independent oversight provided by the independent Interception of Communications Commissioner.
