As at August 2017 there were around 12,500 work coaches across the jobcentre network and working across all benefits. Our internal data for September 2017 shows that only 0.4% of UC customers query the earnings used in their award, and the majority of these queries are resolved by explaining how Universal Credit works.</p><p>In September 2017, Universal Credit used over 360,000 separate earnings notifications in Universal Credit awards.
