<p>My Department does not publish forecasts for house building. 189,650 new homes were delivered in 2015/16 but we accept we have further to go as a country to build the homes we need.</p><p>The Government’s ambition is to deliver 1 million homes by the end of the Parliament and our Housing White Paper sets out a comprehensive package of reforms to help us to do so.</p>
